“After the success of ‘Kireedam’, Sibi Malayil called me and said, ‘Let’s do a film with M.T. Vasudevan Nair’s script.’ He also said that he had decided not to do any more films with Kireedam Unni. That is why he said, ‘Let’s do a film like this.’ The collaboration of M.T. sir and Sibi was a very attractive project. I immediately accepted this opportunity. I met M.T. sir and spoke to him. He agreed to write the script. He also gave an advance for the script. He also had a date with Mammootty at that time.”

However, Dinesh Panicker explains the reason why this dream project did not happen. Even after a year, the script was not completed. Later, Sibi Malayil called me and informed me that he was going to do a film with Mohanlal in the lead. He also said that it was in the script of MT sir. I felt very sad. What Sibi Malayil said at that time is that it is sad to say, but I am going to do a film in the script of MT sir. I am sorry that Dinesh did not get that film. The hero is Mohanlal.

In fact, Dinesh Panicker says that he felt angry and sad. He waited for a film for two years but he did not get that film. He even had to taken back the advance he given to MT vasudevan nair for the script .” Dinesh Panicker says. That project was done by Seven Arts and that film is Sadayam. This experience shared by Dinesh Panicker sheds light on the uncertainty often seen in the film world.
